Gray Tollison has been a member of the firm since 1992. His primary focus in the firm has been personal injury, products liability and government relations. He is also the attorney for the Lafayette County School Board. Gray is a Fellow in the Mississippi Bar Foundation, which recognizes those in the legal profession who have outstanding legal ability and devotion to the public and profession.
Since 1996, Gray has served as a State Senator in the Mississippi legislature. In January 2012, Gray was appointed Chairman of the Senate Education Committee by Lt. Governor Tate Reeves. From 2004 until 2012, Tollison served as Chairman of the Judiciary, Division “B” Committee under the leadership of Lt. Governor Phil Bryant and Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck. He is also a past Chairman of the Constitution Committee.
During his legislative tenure, Gray has been recognized for his efforts including the 2010 Award for Leadership in Juvenile Justice Reform, Miss. Homebuilders Association’s 2008 Legislator of the Year, Miss. State Troopers Assn.’s 2007 Legislative Leadership Award, and the State Farm Alliance 2006 Seat Belt Champion Award.
Gray is a graduate of Rhodes College and the University of Mississippi School of Law. He was a law clerk for Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Armis E. Hawkins and worked for United States Senator John C. Stennis in his Washington, D.C. office.
